UI/UX WORKSHOP

10/02/2019

User experience design (UX, UXD, UED or XD) is the process of enhancing user satisfaction with a product by improving the usability and accessibility provided in the interaction with the product. User experience design encompasses traditional human-computer interaction (HCI) design and extends it by addressing all aspects of a product or service as perceived by users.

Our Founder and President, Mr. Adarsh Kumar headed the workshop on the topic UI/UX Design. It was considered as a successor of the workshop on Adobe Photoshop. Therefore, the prerequisites were Basics of Photoshop i.e. knowledge of usage and implementation of tools.

Dates - 6th, 7th and 9th February 2019

It was a three-day workshop with a time of one and a half hours on the first two days and two and a half hours on the last day.

DAY 1:

Was about briefing the basics taught earlier so that the students could review all the previously taught topics for further use. Doubts were cleared and a small project of creating a registration form and a home page was given to test students' photoshop abilities and help them explore its resourcefulness.

DAY 2:

The students' designs were looked upon and improvised by eliminating their mistakes. They were all given tasks of designing icons, log-in pages and sign up pages under the guidance of Adarsh Kumar. They all were first taught a bit of those design and were showed samples. Later the task was given as a home assignment.

DAY 3:

Individual interaction and QA round were held. A number of great designs were appreciated and others were guided for more innovative and wonderful designs.

According to the feedback we received we would be looking ahead for some events and more workshops.
